Web Design
As a photographer, I became frustrated with trying to find a web designer that could build the site that was in my head and not have to break open the piggy bank. The solution was to teach myself how to build the thing myself. After about 3 years of this, I’ve gotten pretty good at building sites. Some of my friends and colleagues were in the same spot and so I started to take on a few clients. Here are some examples of my work. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in getting a quote for your website.
This one is for photographer David Muse. This is his Baltimore Photo Safari website and he takes people on photo walks around the city and teaches them how to photograph all of the local spots. The key feature of this site is the galleries of sample images from the tours…sorry, the “safaris” that he leads.

Recently, David wanted an update to this website and we were able to streamline some of the process for his clients to purchase one of his photo safaris by adding a shopping cart. We wanted to keep much of the same look and yet give it a face lift.
David also had me build the website for his photography portfolio. This site is loaded with a huge variety of images from bugs and snakes to beautiful landscapes and the key was providing an organized but diverse range of galleries.

We did the face lift routine on David’s Photography site as well. His emerging print business need a robust gallery system as well as shopping cart. We also kept the general look and feel so that returning clients would still feel at home, however the front page now dynamically links to galleries rather than being a static display.
While not an independent testimonial, here is what David wrote me today, “After reviewing the websites as promised yesterday, I gotta say thanks once more. Your design and efforts make me look pretty darn good.” My favorite one was, “Other photographers are foolish not to use your web design service.”
Seems that is the time of the year for website makeovers. This is the site that I built for Richard Badger Photography. He markets and sells prints through a gallery, but wanted to be able to show more images that are available so we built this around presenting images in the best way possible.

I have done several more, so I’ll update this page over the next few weeks. Feel free to get in touch with any questions that you have.
