I see many squirrel on my route.Some fox squirrel.I have seen 2 odd colored ones. The first was a blonde one last year by our bus compound. The other was last week. It was almost all black. Its head,all four feet and legs,and tail were black. It's back was slate gray. I was hoping to find pics of color phase fox squirrel on web,but so far no luck. I just saw a very large squirrel like animal cross the road. After a little research, I'm pretty sure it was a Sherman's Fox Squirrel. It most mostly tan anda the tail was quite long and full. It crossed Curley road north of Rt 54 about a mile on the way to San Antonio. Usually I have my camera but not this time...I will look for it again.
