Holy cow, (sorry…) I actually took pictures of something that couldn’t walk. It must have been the flying cow! Well, in reality it was the spectacle of the spring wildflowers in California and I just couldn’t resist. Besides it is the state flower of California and I think there is a rule that when you see a state this or that you have to photograph it….

I’m still not sure what the purple carpet is made of, but I’m sure someone will tell me and I’ll get these labeled correctly.
